Thanks to so many of you for coming out that first sale weekend! It was a good showing, considering that I had never had my holiday events start that early. The Athens area truly supports its local artists!
I know that many of you local Athenians will have been out of town for the Thanksgiving Holiday, but if you missed the event last weekend you are still in luck: I will have another sale this weekend as well as the following weekend when I will be joined by my friends and fellow potters Geoff Pickett and Jeff Bishoff. The events will all be from 10am to 4pm both Saturdays and Sundays, and will be at my studio at 572 Nantahala ave in the Boulevard neighborhood in Athens. If the weather looks bad I will move the sale inside the studio where my wood stove will keep things dry and toasty warm.
Thanks again to those of you who made it out last weekend! I sincerely appreciate your support. And I’m truly humbled that my pots have such good homes with you. I can’t think of a finer reward for doing what I do….
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Cheers!
Carter
™ & ® You’ll be hearing from my lawyer.
Dang! I knew it would catch up to me. If we settle outside of court how much you gonna want?
I’ll talk to my accountant and get back to you.
(Sweating nervously as I pick through my savings account….)
Haha, Savings account. That’s a good one.
That’s my euphemism for the spare change I collect in a jar in my bedroom. Some day its gonna come in handy. Settlement costs are not out of the question! Would you take a few pounds of quarters, nickels and dimes?
